Overview of Improvements
Improvements
The Ocklawaha River and the Ocala National Forest set a naturally beautiful backdrop for Wilderness RV Park Estates. It is our intent to transform our park into a true “resort destination” for the RV community
Some of the earliest established destinations in the United States were the U.S. National Parks. With a blend of America’s love of National Parks and the long established but evolving trend of the RV lifestyle, we hope Wilderness RV Park Estates stands as a monument to the past – reminding you of those “good old days” but with the added comforts and conveniences RV enthusiasts’ desire.
We are now offering lot estates for individual ownership. Individuals have the opportunity to enjoy all the rights and benefits of RV lot ownership in what is one of the finest RV Resorts in Central Florida.
In the months to follow the Resort will continually change and improve while still providing a relaxing atmosphere for our guests. Improvements include:
- restoration of the roads serving the current 300 lots
- Beautification of nature trails through wooded areas
- added club house and pool to the recently completed lots in the Town Park
- new landscaping and sod for all sections of the park
- renovation of the main pool and the addition of showers and restrooms
- new restroom and showers in the original south section of the resort
- new expanded laundry facilities
- added recreational facilities with fitness area, pool tables, ping pong and other game activities
- new greeting center with property management and sales offices
- renovation of the guest lodge and main building including the restaurant
- renovation and reconfiguration of the main entry
- improvements to the river access making it more user friendly for all guests
In addition, we are very pleased to announce that we will be expanding Wilderness RV Park Estates into the western section of the Resort. We will be adding approximately 130 large lots to serve the unique needs of the large motor coaches. This section will feature added amenities so as to not cause overcrowding in other neighborhoods of the Resort.
